Job Location : Westford,MA, USA
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant with strong experience in GAAP accounting, SAP, and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in month-end close, financial reporting, and data analysis, and will be able to contribute immediately with minimal training. This role is best suited for professionals from manufacturing or medical device industries, as the accounting processes differ significantly from banking or services environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and oversee month-end close activities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
Conduct financial analysis and forecasting based on historical and current data
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data
Utilize SAP for journal entries, reporting, and data management
Leverage advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas) to analyze data and detect errors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting)
5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Proficiency in SAP
Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
Experience in manufacturing or medical device environments
Ability to work independently and proactively identify issues
Preferred SkillsStrong attention to detail and analytical mindset

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
