Financial Aid Counselor - New York University : Job Details

Provide advising throughout the financial aid process to prospective, new and current students and their families. Provide positive direct client services to students, by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university aid application processes. Help inform and problem solve for students to enable them to fund their NYU education. Educate students on the steps and impacts of their financial aid during and after graduation. Qualifications Required Education:Bachelor's Degree. Preferred Education:Master's Degree. Required Experience:2 years experience in a financial aid and/or student services environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience:Financial aid counseling experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Commitment and ability to provide excellent customer service.
