As Financial Aid Communications And Institutional Aid Awarding, Director, you'll help demystify the often-complex world of financial aid. You'll turn policies, procedures, and numbers into plain language and actionable steps for students and families, helping them make informed decisions about how to fund their education. You'll lead with empathy, clarity, and strategyensuring every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for Financial Aid and Scholarships, this role oversees a large portfolio of institutional aid, including endowed and restricted funds, and plays a key part in shaping the service experience for all who apply for or receive financial aid. You'll also lead initiatives like Return-to-TNS and HEOP that support student success and help advance enrollment and retention goals.
As the bridge between the Financial Aid Office and the Development Office, you'll ensure that donor-funded scholarships are awarded in ways that honor both student need and donor intent. You'll analyze service data and apply best practices to continuously improve how we connect with studentswhether by phone, email, web, or in person.
