Finance Manager - Genuine Parts : Job Details

Seeking to fill a Finance Manager role to support GPC IT organization. The individual will be responsible for IT allocation computation and documentation, assisting and validating IT business cases, month-end consolidation and reporting, monthly forecast, annual budget process, and ad-hoc requests. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and software capitalization, along with highly effective communication and interpersonal skills as this role involves interacting with various IT teams.

• Own IT allocation calculation and documentation for all SBU receiving IT allocation.
• Manage the budgeting process, monthly forecast, and variances reporting.
• Assist with IT business cases and reporting on operating and capital expenses.
• Handle month-end close activities, including accruals and re-class journal entries for Opex and Capex.
• Analyze actuals against forecast and budget, and investigate variances.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct benchmark analysis on IT spending across various regions and functions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for reviews with budget owners and VPs.
• Assist with business case analysis post-project to ensure benefits are achieved.
• Provide ad-hoc reports and models for management decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years in corporate finance or financial planning & analysis.
• 3-5 years of experience with IT functions preferred.
• Attention to accuracy and detail.
• Experience with Peoplesoft, TM1/Planning & Analytics, Oracle BI preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
