Job Description :
This full-time position will report to the Executive Management Team which is comprised of the CEO, Director of Facilities and Licensing, Director of Programs and Training, and the Director of Human Resources. This position has a flexible work schedule.PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assists with duties relating to the Organization's financial functions and grant funding.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES (Essential Job Duties):
  • Assists with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports in accordance with individual club-funding sources.
  • Processes requisition and other business forms, checking and account balances.
  • Assists with Grant Department on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
  • Manages account records, issues invoices, and handles payments.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
  • Analyzes financial data and assists TSC with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
  • Updates financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.
  • Reviews existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provides assistance with payroll processor.
  • Keeps records and documents financial processes in accordance with state, federal, and local agency policy.
  • Navigates Organization's braided grant funds to maximize returns.
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associates Degree OR Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or in a related field
  • At least two (2) years' experience working as a Finance Associate
  • Proficient in integrated financial management software, such as QuickBooks
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
