Position Overview: The Business Analyst will work closely with the Global Quality organization to gather and document archiving requirements for analytics and reporting solutions, ensuring that these requirements are effectively translated into a design that will satisfy the Quality Organizations ability to retrieve formatted data and content from the archive. Key Responsibilities: • Requirement Gathering: o Collaborate with Quality stakeholders to identify and understand their needs and objectives. o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements. • Documentation: o Develop clear and detailed requirement documents, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. o Create process flow diagrams, data models, and use cases as needed. • Communication: o Act as a liaison between Quality areas, program office and the IT team, ensuring requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications. o Facilitate regular meetings and updates between Quality stakeholders and the development team. • Analysis and Support: o Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. o Validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Quality goals. o Provide ongoing support to Quality areas and IT during the implementation phase facilitating demonstrations to confirm requirements. • Testing: o Assist in the development of test plans, test scripts as well as participate in system and user acceptance testing (UAT). Required Skills and Qualifications: • Educational Background: o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. • Experience: o Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in healthcare, biotech or pharmaceutical industry. • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in requirement documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). o Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). o Understanding Validation principles and practices in a healthcare, biotech or pharmaceutical environment o Understanding of database concepts and SQL is a plus. • Soft Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-team environment with several stakeholders from different disciplines and backgrounds o Ability to manage multiple priorities. Desirable Attributes: • Certifications: o CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification. • Knowledge of Methodologies: o Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. o Familiarity with business process modeling and reengineering. o Understanding of Computer System Validation in a healthcare setting Outcome: The Business Analyst will ensure that business requirements are thoroughly understood and documented, enabling the IT team to develop effective analytics and reporting solutions that meet the Quality organizational needs. BA needs to ensure there is a priority on must have information in terms of reporting versus nice to have.
