Final & Floor Inspector $36.69/hourly - BWX Technologies : Job Details

Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in-process and completed product to verify conformance to requirements. Accurately document nonconformances that are found during inspections. Accurately record all data as required on records, logs, data sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks. Perform first piece inspection to verify that manufacturing process meets blueprint specifications. Be able to work from written procedures, operation sketches, blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks. Must be able to accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection devices such as plates, comparators, verniers, jo-blocks, snap gages, mics, and electronic indicators. Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate/verify dimensional relationship and accuracy. Ability to work in a diverse team environment with both hourly and salary employees and communicate effectively. Must have the ability to pass the Alloy Identity Certification.
