In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring specialized equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Your work will directly impact the quality and safety of our products, requiring a strong commitment to operational excellence, compliance, and teamwork. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and enjoys hands-on technical work.* Location: Raleigh, NC* Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM-3:30 PM (Overtime as needed, including weekends - flexibility required)YOUR ROLE* Set up, disassemble, sanitize, and maintain production equipment in accordance with SOPs and cGMP standards.* Monitor equipment during batch operations to ensure consistent product quality and operational safety.* Operate autoclaves to sterilize products prior to packaging.* Complete all required documentation related to equipment performance and compliance.* Collaborate with the Filling Supervisor and other departments to coordinate maintenance and resolve equipment issues.* Assist in maintaining production schedules and minimizing waste of materials and components.* Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.* Fill in on the production line as needed to support Filling Operators.* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Maintenance.YOUR BACKGROUNDEducation* High school diploma or GED required.* 2-year technical degree preferredExperience* 2-5 years of experience as a Production Setup Operator or mechanic in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferred)* Experience with automated filling and packaging equipment and vision inspection systems is highly desirable.Skills/Competencies* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools* Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skillsGood verbal and written communication abilities* Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods* Comfortable working in cleanroom environments with specialized apparel* Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYGuerbet is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, pregnancy or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
