Filler - WIXOM - Matheson Tri-Gas : Job Details

The Cylinder Filler is responsible for safely handling andfilling gas products into liquid, medical and high-pressure gas cylinders incompliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting The Company'sstandard operating procedures. This position reports directly to the ProductionManager or Operations Manager.

JOB FUNCTIONSEssential FunctionFills allgas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance withsafety procedures, qualityUnderstandshazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading andinterpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labelscylinders.Comply withsafety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which areapplicable to this position's responsibilitiesMovement ofcylinders as required in the plant. May be required to load and unload trucks.Completesall documentation and forms in compliance with company policy and FDArequirements during the fill process. Accuratelyand legibly ensures products are labeled properly, with current decals and lotnumbers.
