Our client is in search of a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk consultant to join their Finance Department. This vital role supports the accounts payable function of a longstanding nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities through education, advocacy, and community-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and digital accounts payable files
- Receive and route invoices for review and approval
- Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
- Track pending approvals and follow up as needed
- Prepare files for audits and financial reporting
- Ensure confidentiality of all financial documents
- Assist with scanning, data entry, and general admin tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous clerical or AP experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and file organization
- Basic Microsoft Office and office equipment skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Interest in nonprofit or human services work is a plus
