The File Clerk is responsible for supporting the Legal and Operations teams during daily operations. This includes the scanning, printing and compiling of all documents with high accuracy. The File Clerk will also assist in maintaining our file system with much of the filing being done electronically through our Legal software. The file clerk will be responsible for maintaining IL Check in meeting minutes (and others as requested), opening and sorting of daily mail , as well as Ad hoc requests from the Legal and Production Specialist teams. As this role progress it may require additional time spent on our Legal software performing tasks with increasing levels of complexity. Responsibilities Ad hoc requests from the Legal and Production teams. Filling documents both physically and electronically as instructed by the Legal and Production teams. Open and sort Internal Legal mail daily. Scanning, printing and compiling documents with a high degree of accuracy. Working on Legal Software and completing task based work. Education Required: High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor Language Required: English Experience Required: 1 - 2 years customer service or clerical experience. Experience with MS Office. Good communication skills. Preferred: 2+ years work experience in related field. System querying skills. Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel).
