Compensation: For this U.S. based position, the expected salary range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, including base pay and short-term incentives. Compensation depends on factors such as performance, skills, experience, and education. About the Role: Our Field Service Representatives (FSRs) play a vital role by collaborating with customers and teams to perform assembly, startup, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment in various environments. They are problem solvers, customer-focused, and passionate about their work. Schneider Electric provides extensive training, service vehicles, tools, uniforms, and devices.

Position Details: This is a site-based role with occasional nonstandard hours, primarily working at customer sites. The role focuses on servicing power distribution and critical power infrastructure.

Typical Day:

  • Perform site startup, repair, maintenance, and modifications
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to resolve issues
  • Complete reports and data sheets
  • Work with managers to resolve escalated issues
  • Engage in ongoing training and learning

Additional Activities:

  • Travel regionally or nationwide, including overnight stays
  • Support larger projects and system startups
  • Act on behalf of the District Service Manager when needed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, trade certification, military training, or similar experience in electrical disciplines
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power principles and components
  • 2+ years in field service, especially with UPS and power equipment
  • Strong safety practices and adherence to safety policies
  • Experience with NFPA-70E or OSHA preferred
  • Good driving skills and ability to operate test equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and write reports
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks and work outdoors in various conditions
