Field Service Technician - NOV : Job Details

Job Description Responsibilities: - Work independently with little supervision. Travel to customer locations to install, calibrate, test, and commission NOV-MD Totco equipment and software - Provide onsite training to customers in safe operation and use of M/D Totco systems - Perform general maintenance on NOV-MD Totco equipment and software including updates, upgrades, and replacement - Respond to and manage service calls that require more time than anticipated - Service calls may include troubleshooting and repairs, additional equipment requests, rig up/down equipment, etc. - Diagnose and solve problems from non-technical descriptions provided by customers - Possess superb customer service skills - Build positive relationships with customers - Produce timely and detailed service reports, billing tickets, and any other job-relevant documents Job Requirements: - AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred - Willing to travel over 75% of the time - Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off - Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule - Good interpersonal skills - Good verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware - Willingness to be on call - Electrical background preferred - All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
