Field Service Technician - MPW Industrial Services : Job Details

This position ensures the purity of water processed for MPW Industrial Water customers at various project sites. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service, including chemical testing, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel up to 75% to various project sites to maintain MPW Water Purification Equipment.
• Support multiple locations as needed.
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines, including proper housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot and repair system operational problems in collaboration with customers.
• Track equipment performance via daily logs.
• Perform tasks such as hose and pipe assembly, chemical handling, filter backwashes, membrane cleaning, and pump maintenance.
• Use monitoring equipment to test water quality and ensure standards are met.
• Calibrate monitoring equipment.
• Collect and prepare water samples for laboratory analysis.
• Complete site reports on conditions, test results, and deficiencies.
• Work with PLC controls; repair pumps, instruments, and control panels.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Communicate regularly with the Regional Field Service Manager.
• Assist at regeneration facilities if necessary.
• Travel up to 75%, work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work independently and manage tasks effectively.
