How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Field Service Technician will assist in the installation and repair of high pressure cylinder piping systems, cryogenic bulk tanks, micro-bulk tanks, cryogenic dewer cylinders, vaporizers, and manifold equipment at Airgas facilities and customer sites. The goal is to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of our products to the customers' point of use. Responsibilities include performing regularly scheduled preventative maintenance checks on cryogenic pressure vessels and production/plant equipment, maintaining inventory of parts and supplies, installing and troubleshooting telemetry, and obtaining brazing certification.
Comply with all Company and industry safety policies and procedures.Assist in cryogenic and high-pressure piping system installations, inspections, and repairs following NFPA standards and manufacturer recommendations to ensure safety and efficiency.Assist in servicing, inspecting, and maintaining compressors, pumps, and other shop tools/equipment in good working condition.Identify and communicate service issues to management for prompt resolution.Maintain inventory of parts necessary for service, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.Submit service orders, estimates, and invoices promptly to facilitate customer billing.Maintain excellent customer service standards.Demonstrate proficiency and continuously upgrade skills and knowledge.Work flexible schedules as required.Attend all safety meetings.Keep the office and facility clean and organized.Perform other duties as assigned.Participate in the on-call program.________________________
Are you a MATCH?
College or technical degree preferred.Minimum 1-3 years of diagnostic and/or repair experience in cryogenics, high-pressure piping, brazing, programmable controls, pumping systems, mechanical aptitude, or process instrumentation.Experience in HVAC or plumbing with welding/brazing skills is a plus.Ability to interpret manuals, mechanical drawings, and P&ID's.Knowledge of standards set by CGA, NFPA, NEC, and other bodies.Valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and possibly DOT physical.Strong math skills for calculations and measurements.Customer service oriented with professional interaction skills.Ability to prioritize service activities efficiently.Proactive problem solver.Ability to document work and secure approvals.Lift 25-50 lbs routinely; occasionally up to 80 lbs with equipment.Work safely under pressure and meet deadlines.Team player with good organizational skills.Willing to work occasional overtime.Pre-employment and random drug testing and background checks required._________________________
