This position requires daily travel to locations in and around the Miami Metro area, including the airport.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, servicing, installing (deploying), and repairing Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray, and Cargo Inspection equipment at customer sites. Maintain field service logs and ensure all documentation is completed promptly. Demonstrate initiative and dedication by effectively utilizing downtime and exceeding customer and company requirements. Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Foster positive customer relations through effective communication.
  • Install, repair, and maintain equipment; provide customer training as needed.
  • Respond to emergency and non-scheduled service calls within response time goals.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and document all work thoroughly.
  • Manage parts inventory and cycle times efficiently.
  • Maintain technical certifications and review logs for open issues.
  • Participate in service sales opportunities and support revenue programs.
  • Seek knowledge growth from senior FSTs and support technical needs.
  • Ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated.
  • Assess product performance and recommend improvements.
  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in site surveys, pilot programs, and meetings as required.
  • Maintain technical expertise in Trace and X-Ray technologies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
  • Build relationships with senior FSTs and Product Managers to support customer needs and stay updated on technical trends.
  • Control costs while maximizing revenue; complete administrative tasks timely.
  • Travel, overtime, and work outside regular hours may be required.
  • Comply with health, safety, environmental policies, and export regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Education/Training: Associate's Degree or related trade certification (electrical, electronic, mechanical), military training, or equivalent work experience (1-3 years) in electrical or mechanical field service. Proficiency in MS Office and aptitude for learning specialized software.

    Experience: Minimum 3 years in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical/electronic systems.

    Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication, customer focus, teamwork, and responsiveness. Willingness and ability to travel on short notice.
