Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of safety by following health and safety policies.
- Train and mentor Field Service Technicians.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with coordinators to communicate manpower and equipment needs.
- Manage large-scale projects effectively.
- Perform strenuous physical labor and operate various equipment safely.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adapt to varied work environments and conditions.
- Engage in field sampling and calibration tasks as needed.
- Conduct inspections and complete necessary paperwork.
- Safely transport hazardous materials according to regulations.
- Attend all compliance and safety meetings.
- Participate in emergency response activities on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Ability to travel and be on-call for emergencies.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical evaluation.
- Meet respiratory protection standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Background in environmental or industrial work, such as site remediation or spill response.
- Commercial driver's license is a plus.
