Job DescriptionJob Title: CNC Field Service TechnicianLocation: Livonia, MIPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our team based in Livonia, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining CNC machinery and automation systems at customer sites across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CNC systems, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and a willingness to travel extensively.Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machines and automation equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform upgrades, modifications, and preventive maintenance
• Manage service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Track and maintain parts inventory for field service activities
• Deliver timely and efficient service in a field-based role involving regular travel

Qualifications:

• Experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi CNC controls
• Familiarity with PLC and PMC ladder logic
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems
• Ability to travel extensively (domestic and occasional international)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in CNC service, maintenance, or machine installation
• Background in industrial automation or CNC integration
