*Job description *

ZUMBACH ELECTRONICS is known as a world leader in industrial measurement, process control, and Data acquisition systems for extrusions in the manufacturing process of Cable, Plastics, Medical Tubing and Hot/Cold Steel.

We are currently accepting applications for Field Service Engineers and/or Experienced Techs (or recent Four-year College graduates preferred)

The Field Service Engineer should have an extensive understanding of electrical and electronics knowledge including diagrams, schematics, use of electronic instrumentation, and basic network and software understanding . *Responsibilities will include: *

* Traveling within the United States to customer sites to perform installation and commissioning. Support all aspects of our equipment and software, including integration to customer's control and data systems.

* Train customers on the use of our industrial sensors, controls, and data acquisition systems. Conduct after sales technical support and training.

* Utilize system operating manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research system issues.

* Proper documentation is completed and submitted promptly internally and to our customers.

* Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the measuring device industry and product lines offered by the company.

*Job Qualifications & Competencies *

* Experience with industrial electronics preferred. * Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics. * Strong Customer Service Skills. * Strong Mechanical Skills a Plus * Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills. * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job. * Ability to work flexible hours. Frequent overnight travel throughout the US and Canada. * Self-Starter, Highly Motivated Individuals will have an opportunity for career growth.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
