Join our team as a Field Service Engineer and play a key role in supporting laboratories by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Agilents sophisticated systems and solutions.

The ideal candidate will reside within 60 miles of the Ann Arbor area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair Agilent and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, and networking products.
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance issues to ensure minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Advise customers on preventive maintenance to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  • Deliver coordinated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
  • Train customers and other field engineers on system use and standard processes.
  • Maintain clear communication and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Travel regularly to various customer sites and work with a diverse clientele.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field. Validated experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 4+ years proven experience in a field service role or as an end-user of analytical equipment.
  • Experience in Chromatography (LCMS); Mass Spectrometry experience is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with Agilent solutions is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to meet credentialing requirements for customer site access.
  • A company vehicle will be provided for the role.
  • Travel (40%) within the territory.

    This job has a full-time weekly schedule and includes the option to work remotely. Applications will be accepted until at least May 16, 2025, or until the job is no longer posted. In the US, this position is eligible for a choice of a company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

    The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $41.27 - $64.48/hr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location and relevant skills and experience.
