Field Sales Manager
Job Brief
Are you looking to get your foot in the door of an exciting new start-up? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Field Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding the company s footprint, merchandising, and building strong relationships.
Main Responsibilities of a Field Sales Manager
- Identifying and acquiring new customers and managing the entire sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure
- Ensure proper product placement that delivers best visibility
- Successfully secure front end and main aisle presence
- Analyze business needs to identify growth opportunities
- Develop sales plans to close sales gaps and deliver results
- Inform retailers about special offers and assist with promotional displays
Key Requirements
- You have a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field and/or 2-3 years of CPG/beverage sales experience
- You have a strong track record of success with prior experience in a similar role
- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- You are a self-starter with a strong track record of meeting/exceeding your targets
- You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization
LOCATION: 5 Burroughs of NY and Long Island
TERRITORY:
Territory will cover your assigned city location and the surrounding area up to a 300-mile radius.
Other
- You are required to have a valid state driver s license, a satisfactory driving record and carry automobile insurance and utilize personal vehicle to travel to locations
- Must be able to travel, including overnight as needed to run the assigned territory
- Must have reliable transportation in order to manage the assigned territory
- Able to lift 50 lbs of product.
