The Role

This lead-level position involves applying advanced project controls techniques in planning, cost management, and project controls execution. The role includes providing leadership, handling commercial issues, and guiding less experienced personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads a Project Controls team or function, ensuring forecasting accuracy and proactive issue resolution.
  • Cost Control: Oversees cost reporting, forecasting, quantity tracking, change management, and risk analysis.
  • Planning/Scheduling: Manages scheduling efforts, float analysis, earned value, and constructability reviews.
  • PJC Management: Develops and leads project controls professionals, ensuring effective tools and processes.
  • Execution Leadership: Implements procedures, provides project health visibility, escalates issues, and supports staffing and staff development.
    • Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred; Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant experience or 10+ years without a degree.
    • No specific certifications required.
    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    Office and construction site environments, with travel up to 25%. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, and working at heights, with potential exposure to extreme conditions.
