Join Blue Yonder's innovative team, including the Doddle team, acquired in 2023. We specialize in last-mile delivery and returns management, driving supply chain innovations.
As a Field Operations Manager (Hardware), you will oversee the deployment and operation of our hardware self-service solutions (returns kiosks) at various locations. We seek a candidate with strong organizational, operational, and strategic skills to align technology solutions with customer goals and ensure operational excellence.
What You'll DoVendor Management
- Manage hardware manufacturing and support partners, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Coordinate logistics and support activities, including site surveys, hardware staging, deployment, and installation
- Handle purchase orders and vendor invoicing
- Develop hardware rollout plans based on production and installation timelines
- Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs
- Support customization of training materials and manage translation timelines
Customer-Facing Activities
- Engage with customers to understand their logistical and operational needs
- Plan deployments based on hardware availability and customer timelines
- Oversee pilot installations with third-party vendors
- Configure hardware and conduct testing prior to deployment
- Provide on-site training on hardware and software products
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in hardware field operations management, preferably in logistics or tech sectors
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience
- Experience with third-party vendors and service providers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Experience with globally distributed teams and flexible scheduling
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project management (PRINCE2, PMI) and process methodologies (Six Sigma)
- Experience with Mobile Device Management tools
- Familiarity with handheld devices and kiosk technologies
- Experience with collaboration and project management tools
- Experience working within a tech organization and collaborating with technical teams
Additional Information
Salary range: $91,111.54 - $114,888.45 USD. Compensation will depend on experience and skills. Role includes bonus or commissions.
