Job Title: Field Marketing Specialist, Infection Prevention & Sterile Processing
Reports To: Sr. Director of HEOR & Market Access
Location:Columbia, MD (Remote)
Position Summary: The Field Marketing Specialist, Infection Prevention will lead our national field efforts in developing and executing on marketing activities for single-use endoscopy commercial promotion, education, communications, and partnerships for Infection Preventionists, Central Sterile, Surgical Services, Heath Care Quality administrators, and other stakeholders of endoscopy use protocols, managements, and purchasing requirements. This role will be integral in partnering with sales organization, corporate accounts team, and clinical training specialists to deliver on the ground product/brand awareness, value education, and implementation success for single-use endoscopy. Additionally, this role will be expected to lead the field implementation of marketing programs for infection prevention stakeholders and support both internal and external education on the subject matter. This position is well suited for an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills in clinical, administrative, and educational health care environment, and a customer-centric leader for disruptive medical technologies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and subject matter expert on Ambu single-use endoscopy portfolio value and implementation outcomes within the Infection Prevention specialties
- Collaborate with Sales to drive tactical execution field marketing programs to drive demand generation, generate pipeline, and enhance brand awareness within Infection Prevention
- Develop field programs with Product Line Market leaders and Market Access to convey the value of Ambu single-use endoscopy to Infection Prevention stakeholders with the focus of creating advocates for Ambu's unique single-use technologies
- Lead field execution of marketing campaigns for infection prevention markets and endoscopy specialty markets
- Drive communications and support to Sales and Corporate Accounts teams on continuous education on subject matter and relevant campaign efforts – both in the field and virtually
- Collaborate with Product Line Marketing Leaders on Product Launch efforts impacting Infection Prevention markets and ensure execution of field marketing activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Product Marketing, HEOR/Market Access, and Marketing Communications to generate sales tools, collateral, and promotional components for the Infection Prevention markets
- Establish relationships within relevant societies, clinical influencers, and administrative organization to better understand market adoption challenges and product access obstacles
- Collaborate on establishing and maintaining Ambu USA's Infection Prevention Advisory Board
- Provide key Voice of Customer reports for Marketing Management on a regular basis
- Develop, with Product Line Marketing Leaders and HEOR/Market Access – an Infection Prevention KPI Dashboard and report on progress of objectives, tactical programs, and adoption summaries on a quarterly, and ad hoc, basis
- Provide leadership and support at conferences and courses within Infection Prevention and Ambu's various medical specialties
- Monitor competitive activities and changes in the marketplace for quarterly updates
- Complete Market Development activities defined by the Director of Marketing of various franchises, as needed
- Contribute to annual downstream marketing plan development and execution
- Manage travel and field marketing program budget performance
- Up to 50% travel required
- Additional ad hoc duties, as needed
Qualifications /Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Health care and device environments, preferably with a clinical background
- 2-4 Years in Commercial Experience, supporting sales and marketing initiatives
- Experience in Infection Prevention, SPD, HC Quality for endoscopy highly preferred
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and initiative with a lean towards leadership within – capable of delivering on established goals
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and present to HCPs and large groups of internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with colleagues across organizational levels
- Comfortable in supporting sales and HCPs in a clinical environment
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Analytical and budgetary experience
- Strong ability to synthesize customer needs for market insights
- Experience supporting a direct sales force and corporate account teams
