Field Engineer - ICM : Job Details

Travel position. Projects are mainly in the Midwest. The Field Engineer position is responsible for supporting the activities of a construction project site in order to ensure projects meet goals related to schedule and budget. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Assist Site Superintendent in directing personnel and sub-contractors engaged in planning and executing construction project work. Interpret specifications and coordinate various phases of the construction process to ensure goals are met related to schedule and budget. Provide knowledge in the areas of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and QA/ AC. Troubleshoot and answer questions throughout all areas and phases of construction. Manage and adjust schedules and material usage as necessary. Coordinate with Project Manager and PM Associate to issue purchase orders for all consumables, equipment and outside sub-contractors.
