We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Construction Manager to join our team for a large-scale fiber-to-the-home deployment project. The successful candidate will oversee daily field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project timelines
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects
• Maintain knowledge of reporting and tracking financial aspects of projects
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent
• Experience in aerial fiber construction is required
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is an asset
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current practices
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors directly
• Problem-solving skills and proactive issue management
• Strong organizational and planning abilities

Working Conditions:

• This is a site-based position
• Travel up to 40% throughout West Virginia
