Fiberglass Finisher - 1st Shift - Doherty Staffing : Job Details

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with an established company located in Cambridge, MN. We are seeking candidates for Fiberglass Finisher roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $24.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more details!

What you will do as a Fiberglass Finisher:

• Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools (e.g., sanders, spray guns, buffers) to repair and maintain fiberglass and gel coat surfaces
• Work with epoxies and polyester resins
• Mix and apply Bondo, resin, and gel coat
• Match colors and restore gel coat finishes
• Maintain knowledge of materials and techniques
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean workspace
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment

What you need to be a Fiberglass Finisher:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in fiberglass repair, auto body work, or similar fields preferred
• Good time management skills
• Willingness to work occasional overtime
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments
• Able to stand, bend, squat, and twist for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass dust and respirator fit testing (requires being clean-shaven)
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
