The Family Support Provider is responsible for developing a support system for parents of children with serious emotional disorders.
This is a Full-time, benefit eligible position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
Assist and coach family to increase their knowledge and awareness of the child's needsAssist the family in building helpful relationships with child and family team membersLink family with support groups and other community resourcesProvide helpful materials such as videos, books, articles or Internet addressProvide moral support during crisis and other critical periodsAssist family with preparations for meetingsParticipate in other activities as defined by the treatment team and familyAppropriately submit required documentation; progress notes completed collaboratively, within 24 hoursParticipate in the development of individualized service plans that wrap services around the family needsWork collaboratively with the IHS and is given direction by the CPRC Youth SupervisorDriving is an essential function of this positionOther duties as assigned
