At Arkansas Early Learning (AEL), we believe every child deserves an opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. Established to serve vulnerable children ages birth to five and their families across Arkansas, we provide transformational learning programs in a caring, safe environment. Our services include FREE Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K childcare/daycare programs in 11 counties, with multiple centers statewide. AEL is more than just daycare—we are educators, implementing an education curriculum from as early as 6 weeks old, along with various child and family support services.

NOW HIRING A FAMILY SERVICE WORKER:

The Family Service Worker supports parents in identifying and achieving their goals, nurturing their children's development within the context of their family and culture, and advocating for supportive communities for children and families of all backgrounds. This entry-level case management position also assists families with enrollment into the Early Head Start/Head Start program.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in social services or a related field with two years of experience preferred.
• Family Service Workers must obtain, within eighteen months of hire, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field. Training is provided by Arkansas Early Learning.

Qualifications

• Must have a working telephone or cell phone.
• Must have a valid driver's license with minimum liability insurance.
• Basic knowledge of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, etc.
