About the OpportunityA highly respected healthcare organization in the heart of Manhattan is actively hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. As a Family NP in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, walk-in care to a diverse urban population. The ideal candidate thrives in high-acuity situations, is confident in clinical decision-making, and is passionate about improving access to timely care in NYC.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of non-emergent medical conditions
Triage and manage urgent care cases including respiratory infections, injuries, and fevers
Order and interpret labs and imaging
Prescribe medications and coordinate patient follow-up
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and preventive care
