We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Bristol, CT. (Choose between locations- New Britain, CT Bristol, CT Plainville, CT Waterbury ,CT Hartford, CT. ) This one-year residency program, starting in Fall 2025, offers structured mentorship, hands-on experience, and professional development in a supportive primary care setting. Under the supervision of board-certified Primary Care Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, you will gain valuable clinical skills while providing high-quality patient care.

Conduct medical evaluations, develop accurate diagnoses, and formulate treatment plans in accordance with clinical best practices.
Perform physical health examinations, preventive screenings, and medication management.
Prescribe therapeutic interventions and administer medications as required.
Monitor and support patients' self-care management and provide necessary health education.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs.
Utilize evidence-based practice to triage clinical emergencies and implement safety protocols.
Document clear and concise clinical impressions and treatment plans.
Registered Nursing degree and a relevant Master's degree in Nursing.
Certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Active Connecticut APRN license and Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Active DEA controlled substance registration and Connecticut controlled substance registration.
Ability to acquire and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Strong foundation in primary care, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
Experience or training in triaging clinical emergencies and implementing safety protocols.
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
