Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care services to our patients. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our healthcare team, delivering comprehensive care while fostering a positive and supportive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate patients' health status.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and interventions for acute and chronic health conditions, in collaboration with the supervising physician and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses to empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures as appropriate within the scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice or Adult/Geriatric Care preferred.
  • Clinical experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Strong clinical skills and proficiency in primary care services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
