Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Atlas Search : Job Details

Please note- The annual base salary range is $128k to $168k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Our client is seeking a skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join their hospitalist team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and play a key role in improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions for hospitalized patients
• Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Conduct medication management and patient education
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR) system

Qualifications:

• Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
• Active NP license in NY.
• Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
