The WeCare Group, Inc., is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner NP at our facility in Scotia, California. Potential candidates should be self-directed, willing to learn, as well as a team player. Excellent communication and computer skills are a must. The successful candidate will be familiar with Family Practice.J-1 Visas acceptedThe WeCare Group, Inc. is a federally qualified health center, located in Northern California.Responsibilities:- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, medical imaging, and ophthalmology exams- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary- Perform minor surgical procedures- Provide family planning services and reproductive health care- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careRequirements:- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California- Masters Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is a plus- Knowledge of electronic health record systems- Proficiency in performing aseptic techniques and sterile processing- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and specimen collection processing- Experience working in a Primary Setting, is preferred- Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program (experience working in primary care/family medicine is a plus!)- CA Licensure/DEA/NPIWe offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as: Company paid professional liability insuranceContinuing educationMedical InsuranceDental PlanLife InsuranceVision InsuranceShort Term Disability (state provided)Eligible to apply for student loan repayment with the federal government4-Day Workweek11 Paid holidays, earn up to 3 weeks vacation in the first year.If you are a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner looking to make a difference in the lives of patients across the lifespan, we encourage you to apply.
