The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages — from pediatrics to geriatrics — in a culturally diverse community. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services including routine check-ups, preventative care, and chronic disease management.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in patients of all ages.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging as necessary.
- Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health, and ancillary services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Licensed to practice in the state of New York (or ability to obtain).
- Current DEA registration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in an urban, community-based outpatient setting.
- Multilingual abilities (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or others) are a strong plus.
- Experience with value-based care models and EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic).
