Family Nurse Practitioner Position - Cross Country Locums : Job Details

Work Dates Needed: 8/11/2025-9/29/2025 with option to extend Preferred Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8a-5p (60). Tuesday from 10a-7p (60). No weekends or holidays Worksite Setting: Outpatient Onsite Clinic Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active NC license, BLS, DEA. At least 2-3 years experience in Primary Care and Occ Health.EMR: EPICSetting: Primary Care with some Occ Med Will take a NP or PA Reason for coverage: shortageRequirements: Active NC licensure, BLS and DEA. Primary care experience a must with some Occ Med. At least 2-3 years as a NP/PA. This is primary care and some OCC health. Patient age range: 2 yo +, mostly see adult patients, children are rare Clinic setting in person/virtual:- mostly in person, do some virtual and telephonic care but it is not as common Amount of patients generally seen: average is between 14-16 per day. Assistance provided (if any): CMAs, Medical Receptionists and HCM are all on Site. Any previous experience that would benefit?: Primary Care experience is necessary.Patients per day: average: 14-16(sometimes less and sometimes more) Support Staff: CMA, Medical receptionist and HCMPatient population: 2 and up , will see mostly adults Will have a collaborative MD? YES EMR: EPIC Essential Functions:Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients 'clinical problems and health care needsRecords physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's conditionProvides written home-going instructionsCollaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessaryPrescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic proceduresRefers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatmentMaintains medical records (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software)Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practicesInterview: via Zoom or Teams
