The Spartanburg Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Spartanburg, South Carolina is a national leader in community family medicine education. We are seeking to add a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to our core faculty . The program is affiliated with both the Medical University of South Carolina and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas Campus. Highlights of the position include: 12 FM residents per year First in the state to receive ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Evidence Based Medicine Largest program in the state Collegial faculty Job benefits: PSLF affiliated hospital Paid interview expenses Paid relocation expenses Paid malpractice insurance $6000 CME annually 30 days of time off per year Premium retirement options The successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a SC medical license, have FM board certification, have a love of teaching, and a background of practical experience or faculty development fellowship.
