Job Description :

We are assisting a respected non-profit organization in Miami, FL, in seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join their mission-driven team. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on families and individuals by providing critical legal services in family law matters.

Position: Family Law Attorney

Location: Miami, FL

Experience: 0-5 years (newly barred attorneys with family law clerkship/internship experience encouraged to apply)

Bar: Active Florida Bar license required

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in family law matters including custody, divorce, child support, and domestic violence cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
  • Manage caseload from intake through resolution under supervision and with mentorship opportunities.
  • Provide counsel, advocacy, and representation to low-income individuals and families.
  • Engage in community outreach and education initiatives as part of the organization's mission.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership with the Florida Bar.
  • 0-5 years of family law experience; clerkships and internships in family law will be strongly considered.
  • Demonstrated commitment to public interest, pro bono, or non-profit legal services.
  • Strong communication, client advocacy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
