The OHCAC Head Start Classrooms providehigh-quality care for children during the critical first 2,000 days of life by operating8learning centers, serving children birth through five years old, in Marion, Morrow, Crawford, & Richland counties.Because of our high standards, all sites achieved a 5-Star rating on the Step-Up-To-Quality system.

OHCAC Head Startoffers

• Base Pay: $20.51- $23.78hour

Job Summary

• Recruit, complete and maintain enrollment with eligible families, develop a rapport and provide service through ongoing interactions
• Work with families to assess their strengths and support them in setting and meeting individual and family goals.
• Guide families toward healthy self-reliance.
• Encourage and support families to ensure completion of their child's health screenings.
• Nurture positive relationships with families as they prepare their children for successful transitions to kindergarten and beyond.
• Use the many tools available through the Head Start/Early Head Start programs to identify obstacles and surmount them.
• Partner with local community resources and agencies.
