As a Failure Analysis Engineer on the Metrology and Characterization team, you will bring your electron microscopy experience to help perform failure analysis and characterize the fabrication process using state-of-the-art characterization techniques. You will also be comfortable with developing prototype characterization, and fabrication techniques and running, maintaining, and stabilizing the process flow and equipment. This role is crucial to our success as we continue to improve the performance, coherence, and reliability of our devices.
As a hardware engineer on the Metrology and Characterization team, you will leverage your electron microscopy expertise to optimize fabrication processes using state-of-the-art characterization techniques. Your primary tools for daily tasks will include advanced analytical techniques such as Analytical SEM, Automated SEM, EDS, Nanoprobe, FIB, and STEM. You will also be proficient in developing applications for characterizing new fabrication processes, conducting root cause analyses, and performing Design of Experiments (DOEs). This role is vital to our continued success in improving device performance, coherence, and reliability. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
