POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager, Faena Rose NYC provides strategic and operational leadership for the club, ensuring a seamless member experience across Community Development (sales), Member Relations (guest experience), and Cultural Programming (event curation and production). The GM oversees the location‑level P&L in partnership with the Director of Finance, drives revenue growth and retention, upholds Faena brand standards, and champions a culture of hospitality, creativity, and wellbeing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Development (Sales Leadership)
- Own the membership sales strategy and annual targets; set monthly pacing and track performance.
- Coach and mentor the Community Development team, providing tools, training, and real‑time feedback.
- Approve pricing exceptions and wait‑list offers within corporate guidelines.
- Develop external partnerships and referral programs that generate qualified leads.
- Analyze sales funnel data and present weekly pulse reports to the President.
Member Relations & Service
- Define and uphold service standards across all touchpoints, from onboarding to daily requests.
- Partner with Director of Member Relations to monitor NPS, retention rate, and membership renewals.
- Escalate and personally steward VIP concerns or sensitive membership issues.
- Oversee the design and execution of member‑journey mapping, personalization initiatives, and loyalty programming.
- Approve retention campaigns, freezes, and resignation recovery efforts.
Cultural Programming Oversight
- Supervise the Director of Event Production on the events calendar and headline talent in alignment with Faena Rose brand pillars.
- Ensure each event meets financial objectives and brand guidelines, signing off on monthly departmental P&L
- Facilitate cross‑department coordination on production, facilities, security, and digital amplification.
- Attend priority events as on‑site host to reinforce service culture and gather live feedback.
Finance & Budget Stewardship
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to set the annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor revenue, expense, and labor forecasts; initiate corrective action on variances.
- Approve departmental purchase requests and OPEX within delegated authority levels.
- Review monthly flash, rolling forecast, and event P&Ls; present insights to leadership.
- Maintain high‑level oversight of dues billing accuracy (collection handled by Member Relations and Finance).
General Operations & Facilities
- Own all site SOPs including life‑safety, data privacy, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with property engineering, security, and IT to ensure maintenance, safety, and system uptime.
- Manage vendor relationships for outsourced services.
- People Leadership & Talent Development
- Directly supervise three department heads plus Operations/CRM Support staff.
- Lead full talent life cycle: recruiting, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, wellbeing, and continuous learning.
- Plan and manage departmental labor budgets and scheduling in line with business volumes.
- Champion Faena's values, employee engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop the annual business plan for Faena Rose NYC, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for new revenue streams, pop‑ups, and potential Rose locations.
- Represent Faena Rose at external forums, brand partnerships, and corporate meetings.
- Leverage market insights and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
- Drive innovation in programming, technology, and member engagement.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Exceptional communication skills—able to articulate the Faena Rose vision to a sophisticated demographic.
- Commercial acumen with proven ability to drive revenue and manage budgets.

SUCCESS METRICS
- Oversee a dashboard covering sales pace, retention, event utilization, member satisfaction, labor, and spend.
- Ensure data integrity across CRM, POS, and financial systems.
- Present weekly and monthly performance briefings to President and key stakeholders.
- Use analytics to recommend data‑driven improvements and resource allocation.
- Automate routine reporting where possible in partnership with IT/Operations Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of senior-level leadership in luxury hospitality, private-club, or lifestyle brands, with 5+ years owning a full P&L for a multi-million-dollar operation.
- Demonstrated success launching or scaling a membership concept, sustaining >85% retention and NPS 70+ while growing ancillary revenue streams (events, F&B, retail, sponsorship).
- Proven builder of high-performance, cross-functional teams; sets clear KPIs, coaches for growth, and acts decisively on under-performance.
- Mastery of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, paired with a keen eye for guest-experience “moments” that justify premium pricing.
- Deep familiarity with New York City's hospitality ecosystem, vendor landscape, and regulatory environment; a ready Rolodex of cultural and culinary partners is a strong advantage.
- Data-literate: comfortable with CRM platforms, dashboard analytics, and advanced Excel/SQL; eager to pilot AI-driven tools that streamline operations and personalize service.
- Polished communicator. Equally compelling in board-level presentations, member-facing conversations, and crisp internal memos; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, or a related field required; MBA or comparable graduate study preferred.

In accordance with New York State law, the expected salary range for this position starts at $200,000 per year. This position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
