Compensation Range: $18.65 - $26.11

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

General Summary: The Faculty Onboarding Facilitator serves as the primary contact for the Department of Psychiatry faculty recruits from the time of initial interview through Day 1 of their employment. The position is primarily responsible for the coordination of new faculty onboarding needs including assisting the candidate through the processes related to securing a faculty appointment, medical staff appointments, and system set up & access. The position additionally assists as needed with all faculty support matters.

Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm

Essential Functions:

  • Scheduling recruitment meetings and interviews both in-person and via zoom.
  • In-person dates may require complex itinerary scheduling and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as primary contact related to faculty postings and faculty recruitment efforts.
  • This includes a regular review of applicant CVs within HRMS with follow up to appropriate leadership.
  • This also includes the creation and maintenance of a tracking database for all recruitment candidates and regular recruitment meetings with leadership.
  • Coordinate & facilitate all necessary paperwork to complete the faculty appointment process based on offer letter.
  • Primary support for recruitment candidates navigating process related to securing faculty and medical staff appointment(s), includes scheduling & travel arrangements for pre-employment health screen.
  • Direct, on-site support for pre-employment health screen date and employment start date.
  • Will include in-person orientation and check-in on employment start date and assistance with completion of the onboarding checklist.
  • Coordinates and assists with securing of essential needs Badge, eRecord access, signature capture, photo, eCV, COI, MyPath mandatories, swipe access/key access, etc.
  • Serves as the initial contact directing the faculty members' enrollment with the payers and set-up in the eRecord system.
  • Serves as back-up for the Administrative Assistant to the Chair and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Required
  • 2 year of relevant administrative experience Required
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experienced user of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Zoom
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of University policies a plus but not required (work orders, procurement, P2P system, faculty regulations, etc.)
