Facility Worker - Dakota State University : Job Details

Dakota State University is seeking applications for a full-time facility worker Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. The ability to work evenings and weekends is required to accommodate for various events. Responsibilities:Floor care mainly vacuuming and mopping but could include scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing carpets.Perform routine floor maintenance including scrubbing hard surface floors using an automatic floor scrubber. Clean and sanitize restrooms.Collect and remove trash from building.Dust and wash walls, woodwork, and windows.Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.Painting and moving furniture.Setting up and tearing down after events. Successful candidate must be able to:Follow written and oral instructions.Operate required equipment.Work with students, staff, and the public courteously.Work independently.Lift 50 pounds.Maintain a valid driver's license.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available for this position.)
