POSTION: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGERFLSA DESIGNATION: EXEMPT POSITION REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSSALARY RANGE: $100K - $120K PER YEARPOSITION PURPOSE:A facilities maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing facility repairs and general maintenance of all Cipriani locations.Basic Duties/ responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring proper operations, maintenance service and repair of all equipment.
  • Responsible for general maintenance in all locations as needed.
  • Responsible for overseeing and participating/creating in the Preventative Maintenance program ensuring that all public/operational spaces meet standards.
  • Lead the Facilities program to maintain polished aesthetics throughout the venue's amenities, technical features, and back of house areas while innovating, improving, and adapting standards and processes.
  • Project manage, delegate, and participate in tasks in terms of repairs, improvements, and updates to the venue.
  • Develop and execute improvement/repair proposals with an established timeline and budget.
  • Keep Machine safety data (MSD) sheets current and easily available.
  • Troubleshoot and develop long-term solutions for operational challenges and technical issues that affect the overall guest experience.
  • Track department inventory needs and orders supplies as needed, while remaining within budget
  • Establish ongoing training for all departments especially guides, all attendant positions, and Kitchen to maintain the basic upkeep of their departments equipment, such as ice machines, fridges, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors, and coordinate and schedule walkthroughs and inspections and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain proper safety and sanitary protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the operations team
  • Create and maintain preventative maintenance to avoid systems failures.
  • Maintain repair ticketing system and communicate repair timelines to relevant team members.
  • Help create and co-manage the Safety Committee as well as help coordinate fire drills and the training of all employees on safety procedures.
  • Conduct daily facilities check of all facilities and exterior perimeter for debris and trash removal; Check the lighting, sound, amenity space periodically.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Operations Manager
  • Participate in all other projects tasks as assigned.
  • Systems to be managed: HVAC, steam room, elevator, kitchen, laundry facilities, pest control, basic plumbing and electrical.
  • Travel to various locations to perform initial repairs on facility equipment as needed.
  • Managing maintenance staff and scheduling repairs in other facilities.
Qualifications:
  • Comply with certification requirements as applicable for the position to include: Master Plumbing license for NYC, Full gas work certificate and Certificate in Facility Management (CFM) are required. Additional licenses and certificates for NJ are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience in a high-volume environment is required.
  • A valid Drivers license with a clean record is a must.
  • Knowledge in restaurant appliance and equipment repairs is a plus.
  • Must have a strong understanding of proper repair and maintenance concepts.
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Must have experience in mediation and effective conflict resolution.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
  • Must be able to participate in all essential job functions, including lift/carry 50+ lbs.
  • Must be flexible with tasks throughout the workday.
  • Open availability is required (including weekends & holidays)
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:Education: High school diploma/GED.Experience Required: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high-volume environment.Licenses or Certificates: Master Plumbing license for NYC, Full gas work certificate and Certificate in Facility Management (CFM) are required.
