Job DescriptionA Facility Layout Engineer responsible for optimizing the infrastructure and layout of equipment, machinery and all physical assets within an industrial manufacturing facility. Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in facility layout for manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit, or other 3D software's.
- Solid understanding of building systems such as HVAC, machinery, electrical distribution, compressed air, water systems, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with building codes, OSHA and NFPA safety regulations.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Facility layout of equipment, machinery and all physical assets within an industrial manufacturing facility.
- Oversee improvements and modifications to industrial facility systems and infrastructure.
- Assists in facility projects including renovations, utility upgrades, equipment installations, and space planning.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, safety, and environmental teams to ensure facility reliability and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as layouts, schematics, and specifications.
