Position: Facilities and Production Assistant

Reports to: Kitchen Manager

Category: Full Time ~35hrs/week (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend)

• Small State Provisions, an award-winning organic bakery located in the heart of New England. Founded in 2019 as a cottage food operation, Small State Provisions has grown rapidly and now has two locations. Small State Provisions is an employee centric bakery that is focused on building a sustainable business and creating deep community impact.

This role will be responsible for assisting and helping to keep the production department supported. The primary focus of this role will be maintaining the dish area to keep the production team running smoothly. In addition to dishes, this role will help maintain an overall clean facility and assist with baking tasks such as scooping cookies, organizing, and working with the bakery team on as needed production items.

• Dish Washing & dish organization
• Facility cleaning and maintenance
• Bakery Assistant scooping, measuring, helping where needed with oversight
• Operations assistance in helping the overall operations of the business

Qualifications:

• 1+ year prior commercial kitchen experience desired (but will consider individuals with less experience)
• Prior dishwashing experience a bonus but not necessary
• Entry Level Position with room to grow
