Assistant Property & Account Manager (PERMANENT)

Location: Boston, MA

  • This role will service a major client in the Boston area, with on-site reporting at the client location most of the time.
  • Looking for candidates with a property management or facilities background, ideally experienced in managing a building or facility for a client. The goal is a seamless transition.
  • Seeking a hands-on individual comfortable working in the trenches and capable of running a board meeting.
  • This is not a typical 9-5 job. There may be occasional weekend work, some days requiring longer hours, and off-hours emergencies and events. Candidates must accept this flexibility.
  • No work-from-home opportunity.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Experience from the Real Estate or Janitorial industry is preferred.

Assistant Property Manager – Janitorial Account Manager

Janitronics Building Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Account & Property Manager in the janitorial services industry to join our team in Boston. The right candidate will have a balance of property facilities management and excellent customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing feedback to staff.
  • Reduce staff turnover by effective communication, training, and employee relations.
  • Participate in team meetings and operational planning.
  • Develop and implement site tour schedules.
  • Conduct daily on-site inspections to ensure properties meet high standards.
  • Deliver high-quality service aligned with our customer service philosophy.
  • Address and resolve client complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and seeking opportunities to expand services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Building Services, Janitorial, Business, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in property management, facilities, or janitorial services for clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobility devices.
  • Flexibility to respond to client needs outside of regular hours.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proven client relationship skills, including resolving issues and building partnerships.
