Summary/Objective

The Facility Operations Manager provides management support for all departments of Facilities. Provides support to the Administrative Director of Facility Management by implementing quality control and reviewing departmental operations.

Essential Job Duties

  • Coordinates functions for all Departments of Facility Management: process improvement and quality metrics, departmental strategic planning, operational and capital budget planning, tracking and reporting.
  • Assists in developing and implementing key performance metrics and facilitates the flow of information to Facility Departments.
  • Manages and coordinates activities of office personnel, including clerical staff (e.g., determining work priorities, preparing work schedules, assigning duties, and reviewing work for accuracy and conformance to policies).
  • Provides project management and quality control functions, including project coordination, close-out procedures, cost management, punch list, warranty, certificates, and documentation. Tracks statuses of RFIs and submittals.
  • Compiles data, generates reports (timelines, budget tracking, financial reports), and maintains strict document control on special projects such as FEMA, Insurance, and Litigation to ensure records, warranties, and contracts are accessible for efficient retrieval.
  • Manages Facilities Management documentation procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to hospital procedures.

Required Education and Experience

Associates Degree, 3 years of relevant experience.
