POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and security of buildings and grounds. This role ensures the facilities are safe, efficient, and achieves the company's operational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot existing processes that are not functioning correctly and bring back into compliance investigate any new process for possible future plant use.
  • Plan, execute, and manage projects related to process optimization, new process development, and technology integration.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, and reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Environmental, Heath, and Safety Team to implement safe work practices and promote a culture of safety.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting process performance, key metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies and tools.
  • Approve expenditures for repairs, maintenance, and new projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for outsourced maintenance.
  • Lead and manage maintenance staff, custodial teams, and contractors.
  • Follow all safety procedure and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in facilities management or building operations.
  • Background in plating processes and be able to recognize/solve any problems with the process to being into compliance.
  • Read blueprints and have the plating knowledge to be able to engineer plating tooling.
  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills.
