Responsibilities * Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, residential and commercial. * Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, residential and commercial. * Inspect, repair, and maintain and repair fans, pumps, coolers, boilers, and general equipment * Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing * Complete general maintenance tasks * Assemble furniture * Maintain grounds, including snow removal and shoveling * Lawn equipment maintenance * PM vehicles * Prepare areas for construction * Follow safety protocol and procedures Background check and drug screen disclaimer: Employeesare required to pass a State and Federal background check and pass a drug and alcohol test. Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements * High school diploma or the equivalent is required. * A valid license for HVAC technicians is preferred. * Valid Illinois driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance is required. * Ability to read, write, follow written, and oral instructions is required. * Working knowledge of general maintenance skills in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, boilers, plumbing, etc. is required. * Knowledge of HVAC systems resident and commercial is required. * Analytical skills necessary to recognize, diagnose and repair equipment and system malfunctions are required. * Knowledge of safety procedures is required. * Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with others in determining and solving needs are required. * Mathematical skills necessary to perform some calculations are required. * Ability to learn to read blueprints and specifications. * When on call, you will need to be within a 30-minute drive from Hopedale.
